Ordering Information

Ordering is quick and easy, just check any number of items you want and click on the Add to Cart button.

Immediately after you place your order, we will email you a copy of your order.

Once we ship your order, you will receive another email with your tracking information. Be sure to check your junk or SPAM folder for emails sent from us or the carrier that include ordering or tracking information.

The majority of all orders are shipped on the same day they are placed, and the balance including Priority Mail orders the next day. To aid same day processing, place your order before 3 p.m. EST, -if it's a rush order indicate the date you require your order in the special instructions section of our shopping cart's order form.

We moniter your orders frequently throughout the day and will alert you of any shipping or stock situation that will prohibit your order from shipping in 3 days, not including weekends and holidays. If out of stock, we may elect to ship you from a third party such as Lodge Manufacturing or another retailer. The billing will remain the same.

After we ship your order, UPS or the USPS will email you a tracking number. Be sure and check your filtered spam boxes for our mail before contacting customer service. Then, if you have not received a tracking number by the third weekday, please contact us at lodgecastiron@comcast.net.

For West coast UPS ground shipments allow up to 5 transit days, to Canada 10 days, and for USPS Priority Mail shipments to APO addresses please allow up to 15 transit days (Mon-Fri except holidays) for receipt. All other orders should arrive within a week.

Cancelled orders, or orders that require a change of address while in transit will be charged a $10 per carton administrative fee. Additional shipping costs up to the amount of outgoing shipping and handling will be charged if the shipment is refused or is non-deliverable.

Please do not refuse your order under any circumstances. If your order is refused, it will significantly increase the time required to provide you with replacements and the cost of shipping.

We do not ship to overseas addresses except those of our military bases and embassies located overseas and stateside.

Please note that all overseas orders are non refundable. If a shipment is damaged or lost we will aid you in filing a claim with the USPS, but will not be held liable for any unsatisfactory results.

  • You can return your purchase within 30 days of purchase. Excluded from return for credit are food, books, and DVDs.
  • You will receive a refund for the purchase price less shipping and handling. You must pay your return shipping costs, and product must be received in saleable condition.
  • Request a return authorization and shipping address by email. Refused or undelivered orders will be assessed a returns service fee equal to the shipping cost.
  • If product is damaged when received, contact us for handling instructions.
  • Lost packages must be reported to us within 10 days of confirmation or within 5 days of the carrier's scheduled delivery. UPS proof of delivery and Mail tracking confirmation with or without your signature constitutes delivery of the shipment and a replacement is not guaranteed.
  • Most orders will be shipped promptly within 3 business days of receipt. Please allow up to 7 days for Mail or U.P.S. delivery.
  • If we feel that we can't fulfill your order in a reasonable time, we'll let you know as soon as possible, but our stock is replenished weekly.
  • We encourage you to e-mail us to settle any problems you have with our products or services. Your e-mail will be replied to by top level management familiar with all aspects of our company.

Note: We include our toll free telephone number on our shipping label for the benefit of gift recipients without computers, but if you'd like you may use it to report a mis-shippment or an item broken in transit. We prefer that you help us fulfill your order correctly and quickly by ordering on line or corresponding by e-mail, and we promise to quickly respond to each and every transmission without the hold times, menu choices, and disconnections experienced with other companies.

IMPORTANT - Credit Card Security

If you fail to give us your correct credit card billing address and AVS number, your credit institution is likely to hold funds for 3-7 days. The hold will disappear without any action on your part, but it may subtract from your credit limit for that period by the charged amount.

A note about Gift Cards: If you are using a third party gift card, like those you purchased from Wal-mart, you must register the Gift Card with the issurer, or your transaction will be declined.

Please give us a valid e-mail address and check it twice before ordering. If we are not able to contact you by e-mail to confirm your order, or to give you shippping information, you will be liable for the order, but our money back or 30 day return guarantee may be cancelled.

In case we need to contact you immediately, please list the telephone number most likely to be reached by day. If you are ordering using a credit card with a PO Box billing address, please use the directory listed telephone number of your home or work address. If ordering product as a gift please give us a directory listed telephone number for the recipient.

All of these precautions protect you from credit card fraud, and we apologize for this inconvenience. We do not send spam by e-mail, nor will we use your telephone number unless it is absolutely necessary.

By entering your zip code our shopping cart will compute the shipping costs automatically, without you having to commit to the order.

To place an order by phone or FAX in order to avoid transmitting your credit card number over the internet, proceed through the step by step ordering instructions and choose payment option Order by Credit Card using FAX. We will call you back for your credit card number. Please indicate a good time to call in the special instructions section of your order or if your intentions are to fax the order with your credit card, AVS number, and signature.

Gift Certificates

Select the amount of the gift certificate (or a combination of dollar amounts) on the gift certificate page and click the Add to Cart button.

Once your payment is approved we will email you the redemption instructions to forward to the recipient either electronically or by mail. In a blink of an eye you'll transmit your gift, including your own salutation, which they can redeem for whatever they want immediately.

Your gift recipient will reference your e-gift order number in the special instructions field of their order to receive your gift! If their purchase exceeds the dollar amount given (including shipping), they'll elect a payment option. If it doesn't, we'll refund the difference back to you. ($3 minimum)

There is no surcharge and your credit card will not be charged until the order is filled and scheduled for shipping. The Secure Shopping Cart Service we utilize is protected by full-strength (128 bit) Secure Socket Layer encryption for sensitive credit card information and assures customer privacy and protection. You may review the Secure Server Authenication Certificate at checkout time, before entering any sensitive credit card information. In order for SSL security to work, you must use an SSL-enabled browser - however, our Shopping Cart Service helps you protect your credit card information, even if your browser is not secure, by truncating the last six digits of your credit card, regardless of whether you utilize the secure server option, or not.

Please note that non-Shopping Cart e-mail is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers.

When you place an order with us, we ask for your name, your email address, your billing address, the address for shipment of the order, your telephone number, your credit card number and expiration date. We consider this information private. We use the information only for the limited purpose of processing your orders. We do not solicit, please bookmark our site for future reference.

We are committed to ensuring your privacy as a customer. You can be confident that we do not sell names, e-mail addresses, or any other information about our online customers with third parties.

Returns, Damages, or Lost in Transit

Non-food purchases returned unused within 30 days will be credited the purchase price, less shipping and handling costs. Returns that are opened, but in a resalable condition may be assessed a nominal repackaging fee. As a courtesy to our customers, we do not charge a handling fee. We cannot accept returns for perishible food items - we inspect these items before they leave our warehouse - but if you feel the product is spoiled upon receipt please contact us so we may put you in touch with either the manufacturer, or in the case of a lost, delayed, or opened package, the carrier responsible

Exchanges can expedite and reduce the shipping and handling costs borne by the purchaser. If you would like to make an exchange, reorder online and note your exchange in the special instructions section of the order form. If approved we will issue a Return Service label via e-mail and then your package can be picked up simultaneous to the delivery of your new purchase. Your return will be credited to the extent of the purchase price less the return service fee UPS charges which is generally less than if you shipped it yourself.

If a package is damaged in transit please e-mail our customer service department for handling instructions. You must follow the carrier's instructions to receive a replacement of damaged goods. If your shipment is lost by a carrier, we will file a tracer on your behalf. If after 3 days the carrier does not locate your order, we will reship it. It is incumbant on you then to refuse a second order or you will be charged accordingly.

Shipping & Tracking

Unless specified "UPS Expedited Services," or "Priority Mail" U.S. orders will be shipped either Standard Mail or U.P.S Ground, attempting to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Tracking numbers and links to the carrier's tracking page will be provided to you on the majority of orders the same day the order is shipped by us from Cosby, or placed with a third party for shipping within three days, or in the case of food, during a time frame that minimizes transit time. Priority Mail orders are for addresses in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Isles, and Guam, plus US embassies, army, and navy addresses, and Canada, unless approved in advance. Do not order if you are planning to relocate, you will be responsible for any additional freight costs on any package undelivered.

Orders for less than $100 that require customs documentation or cancelled orders will be assessed a $10 handling fee.

Most orders will be shipped promptly within one or two business days of receipt. Please allow up to 5 days for delivery to the west coast. If your order needs special handling to receive it on a certain date, plese post that notification to us in the special messages entry of our order form, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We do not guarantee shipping or delivery dates, but will work with you and the carrier to assure timely delivery, or to request a refund of your shipping cost if warranted.
